IICA, BCCI sign pact

The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), a capacity building body under the Union Corporate Affairs Ministry, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) for building awareness on several aspects of the new Companies Act, 2013, most specifically CSR. Under the terms of the MoU, IICA and BCCI will be partnering each other in areas such as corporate social responsibility, competition law, corporate law, corporate governance, inclusive growth and sustainable development, according to a BCCI statement.
